Female bike riders usually have problems with the right elbow when riding a bike. So did this young woman. This woman felt great pains in the elbow when riding a bike, especially in the last times she went on a ride. She mentions that she is not a very extreme bike rider and she is riding at speed of only 20 miles per hour. Also she mentioned that she is dealing with hilly rides. Because her neighborhood does not enable her ride her bike on flat terrain, however, not to steep, of course. She is not complaining of any problems with muscle tension or soreness, nor does she have any other issue besides that awful right elbow pain. She says that she is very cautious when riding a bike and she does not grip the hoods. Her fingers are mostly relaxed during her ride, and, as previously mentioned, she is far from a bike rider that takes this sport to the extreme.

Later on, this young woman was explaining about the issues she has been experiencing during the time of her last ride which were rather unexpected and made her really concerned about her condition. The last ride before her turning to help was her most painful riding experience when she was not even able to bend her arm in order to stretch it out. She specified the exact place that was causing the real pain during the ride and as she said it was the part between the bones of the elbow.

She is not aware on the reasons for her condition. If she knew about them, she would not have turned to someone for help in the first place. Well, the elbow pain is often experienced by bike riders and the reasons are various.

One of the reasons might be because the rider is leaning on her arms too much during the ride, maybe the shape of the bike is just not good for her, or maybe she is not riding it the right way. One solution that might solve the problem is to get handlebars which are not too far from the reach of the hands and should be proportionate in height with the seat.
