It is a clockwise route passing through three countries; driving the Martigny Valley in Switzerland to Courmayeur in Italy and back to France in Chamonix completing the loop. The Jewels of the Alps will meat you on the way; snowy summits and glaciers; pastures; deep valleys; and glaciers lakes.
A whole week of mountain biking experience is the TransApls from Les Carroz to Chamonix. High altitude long rides to the bottom of the valley. The journey will not take to Les, Gets, Morzine, Grand Massif, Portes du Soleil, Megeve and Chamonix valley.
And probably one of the most thrilling mountain bike rides in the Alps it the journey from the Top of Europe to the Mediterranean Sea coast. It is a two stage tour completed in 6 days. Starting at Mon Blanc (4810m), the 650km ride is full of magnificent scenery, remote villages and fantastic single tracks. The beaches of Nice will wave the chequered flag as you enjoy the reward of a great swim in the sea.
