It all depends on how you want your Bike trip to be. Some want the full nature challenge treatment with camping under clear sky; some to rest after riding in a historic in or a luxurious mountain resort; others to feel the maximum of mountain bike riding experience and pedal through out the entire day. There are many mountain bike trips that you can take suitable to fit the taste of your vacation and challenge your bike-riding skills.

1. Slickrock Trail, Utah, U.S.A. is a legendary track with many steep terrains. Its smooth surface gives the perfect traction helping you riding through the climbs. Nerves to put up combined with skill and strength will get you through ultimate challenge.

2. King’s Trail, Grand Paradiso National Park, Italy. Once a hunting territory for King Vittorio Emanuele II, in the shadows of Matterhorn and Mount Blanc, lays the trail the king’s minions carved so that he could have his own lodge. 34 miles and almost 4.000 vertical feet, this route is the place where mountain bikers leave their switchback in the dust of their wheels.

3. Big Boulder Ride, California, U.S.A. Placed in Tahoe national Forest about four hours north east from San Francisco, the track is practically in the middle of nowhere. It has a 22 mile loop with green forests and 7.000 feet of climbing, which is quite exhausting the moment you hear the number. But the final streamside descent of two hours is a great reward.

4. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda, The Safari of mountain bike trips where along the way you will encounter elephants, warthogs, hippos, impalas and lions. It’s a 60 mile of grasslands cinder cones filled with water along Lake Edwards.

6. Kettle Valley Railbed, Canada. This is a trail where you don’t have to put up an extra sweat for steep pedaling. The trail goes along an abandoned railway track of 350 miles through British Columbia Mountains. Myra Canyon is the “cherry on the top” with two tunnels and 18 trestles.

7. Gauley Headwaters Trail, West Virginia, U.S.A. Woods and high hills awaits the mountain bikers that are willing to take on this route. The most interesting part is 30 mile long Gauley Headwaters and 5.000 vertical feet Allegheny Mountains, part of the Monongahela National Forest.

8. North Face of the Eiger, Switzerland. It’s a traffic free area along old farm roads on the north side of the peak.

9. Centennial Trail, South Dakota, U.S.A. Bike trail of 111 mile taste of a Western Movie. True prairie filled with bison, caves and many other things that you have seen in the movies.

10. Route of the Conquistadors, Costa Rica. This is a 270 trail that symbolizes the connection of the Pacific with the Atlantic. The route will lead you up to 10.000 feet and then descend to many different landscapes; like lava fields and rainforests.
