LA County Bike MapsLos Angeles, the last place where the sun sets to finish the day, is a metropolis full of bike paths that stretch along rivers, parks and city’s label for cycling – along long beaches.

Starting northeast, in San Fernando Valley, there are bike maps that will lead you through the bike paths for Brown’s Creek, Orange Line Busway Bike Path and Sepulveda Dam Recreation Area.

Brown’s Creek is a bike path with two miles in length, no parks and few rest areas. It’s a mixture of industrial and residential facilities. Not very recommended since the path is quite damaged and it goes through neighborhoods known for gangs and graffiti.

Orange Line Busway Bike Path is nicely maintained bike path that stretches from Warner Centre to Sherman Village; curvy with grass, trees and benches between Balboa and Sepulveda.

Sepulveda Dam Recreation Area is a 9 mile loop around the Area. Bike paths lead also through and around Sepulveda Dam Recreation Area; a green park with many picnic tables, softball fields, golf courses and etc.

The map of Los Angeles River Bikeway, a bike path that goes from Griffith Park to Elysian Park will lead you through Griffith Park; you’ll pass the striking Hero gates of Rattlesnake Park; a water garden between Glendale and Fletcher; and some small twists and turns connected to wide open spaces.

The Map of Arroyo Seco Bike Path, Alongside the Pasadena Freeway, is around three miles along some of the oldest and interesting neighborhoods of Southern n California.

A Map of 8.5 mile Santa Monica & Venice bike path, the most famous bike path in Los Angeles stretches from Marina North to Sunset. It is full of not just with bicyclists, but also with inline-skater and skateboarders; probably the most filmed paths in Hollywood.

The Map of Ballona Creek Bike Path, from Marina Del Rey to Culver City, 8 miles of bicycle ride combined with little parks and interesting sights.

Short map of Duarte Bike Path is an easy driving experience with lots of shade. It goes 2 miles along Royal Oaks Drive ending in the east at little Royal Oaks Park.

A map of Rio Hondo is a bike path that converges with the Los Angeles River south of John Anson Ford Park. This path gives the feeling that you are far from civilization.
The map of Legg Lake Park, is a 5 miles bike path around the lake; flat and easy. Pretty good bike paths go through the park with restrooms, water, picnic tables, softball and golf courses and etc

The map of San Gabriel River, Mid-Trail- stretching about 12 miles from Whittier Narrows to Lakewood, flat path with concrete wasteland in the Pico Rivera area. But there are some nice parks and rest areas with couple of pedestrian and bike bridges for crossing over.
